Greg and I have made new Years Day an annual fishing event to get the yearly skunk off on day one. We had hoped to chase brown trout this year, but the recent rains made conditions pretty tough. So, we decided the tribs on the Alley were going to be a better option. By 8:00am we both had steelhead in hand and the skunk was off. We were able to spend the rest of the day enjoying the scenery and catching some fantastic steelhead.
